Course Summary
Our most popular course is Emergency First Aid Course for the Workplace. When a workplace first aid risk assessment has been completed and identifies a need for a first aider in the workplace, this one-day qualification will give the participants the capability to the highest level of first aid, meeting the Health and Safety Requirements (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
This one-day course covers various first-aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations confidently and effectively. In addition, this course will include any protocol changes that have arisen since their last training course.

Which Units are covered?
Unit 1 title: Emergency First Aid in the Workplace
- Maximum of 12 candidates per course
- 1 day (6hrs)
- Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (FAA)

A range of subjects are covered, including:
• Responsibilities and reporting • Resuscitation and AED awareness • Burns
• Assessment of the situation • Anatomy • Choking
• Dealing with an unresponsive casualty • Minor injuries • Epilepsy
• Basic hygiene in First Aid • Bleeding control • Shock
A minimum of 6 hours spread over at least one day.
Upon successful completion of the course Candidates will be issued with a Three year Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work.
This course is certificated by First Aid Awards (FAA) in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
A maximum of 12 candidates per course are allowed and must be a minimum of 14 years of age.
