Course Summary

The Basic Life Support Plus AED Course will give learners the skills and knowledge to act in an emergency situation providing the casualty with critical life saving assistance until support arrives.
The course is delivered following the protocols set by the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines

What’s Covered?

Basic Life Support

The use of oxygen in CPR and for patience who are breathing.

  • Maximum of 12 candidates per course
  • 4 hours
  • Basic Life Support Certificate

  • • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) • Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
    • Primary Survey • Recovery position
    • Choking
  • The use of oxygen in CPR and for patience who are breathing.

A minimum of 4 hours 

Upon successful completion of the course Candidates will be issued with a Three year Basic Life Support certificate

This course is certificated RCH Training in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

A maximum of 12 candidates per course
