First Aid at Work Course | HSE-Compliant Training for Workplace Emergencies
Our comprehensive First Aid at Work course provides essential life-saving skills for handling workplace accidents and medical emergencies. Ideal for high-risk industries like construction, manufacturing, and engineering, as well as general office environments.

Training is offered via blended learning through our Open Venue Public Courses—6 hours of interactive online eLearning, followed by two days of hands-on classroom training.

Alternatively, choose on-site training at your workplace, delivered either as a blended course or as three consecutive days of instructor-led practical sessions.

 

Who the First Aid at Work Course Is Suitable For

The First Aid at Work course is a nationally recognised qualification, ideal for individuals in higher-risk workplaces where comprehensive first aid training is essential. This includes environments such as:

  • Light engineering and assembly work

  • Food processing

  • Work involving dangerous machinery or sharp instruments

  • Chemical manufacturing

Packed with practical, hands-on activities, this course builds confidence to handle a wide range of emergencies both in and out of the workplace. You’ll also explore specific injuries, illnesses, and conditions relevant to your work environment—so you’re fully prepared for real-life situations.

About the First Aid at Work Course

  • Meets HSE Requirements
    This course complies with Health & Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines and is suitable for workplace first aid training.

  • Certification
    Each participant receives a nationally recognised certificate, valid for three years.

  • Course Materials Provided
    Every attendee is given a copy of the Emergency First Aid handbook to support learning during and after the course.

  • Interactive and Practical
    The course includes hands-on activities with time for questions and practice, helping participants build real confidence.

  • Informal Assessment
    There are no formal tests. Assessment is carried out in a relaxed, supportive environment throughout the session.

At Our Venue
£245 + VAT per person, including expert instruction, materials, and certification.

Duration

3 days 18 hrs of practical, trainer-led instruction (excluding breaks), in line with HSE guidelines or Blended option 2 days face-to-face and 1 day at home learning.

At Our Training Centres
Runs from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
