Mini Medics First Aid is a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate first aid training course for children aged 7–11 years old. Designed to introduce young learners to essential life-saving skills, this course teaches children how to:
- Recognise an emergency situation
- Call 999 and communicate effectively with emergency services
- Provide basic first aid and life-saving support

About This Course
The Mini Medics First Aid course is a basic introduction to first aid for children, delivered in a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate way. It helps young people learn essential life skills without any complicated terminology or overwhelming detail.
During the course, children will learn about:

- How to get help in an emergency
- Dealing with minor injuries such as cuts, bumps, and bruises
- The recovery position
- Basic CPR awareness
- Staying safe and calm in different situations
We'll Cover
Our Mini Medics First Aid sessions are designed to be fun, engaging, and age-appropriate while teaching children vital life-saving skills. Depending on the session length, children will learn how to:
- Understand what first aid is and why it is important
- Recognise an emergency situation and stay calm
- Call 999 and give clear information to the emergency services
- Place a casualty in the recovery position
- Perform basic CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
- Use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) with guidance
- Treat minor injuries such as cuts, bumps, and bruises
- Recognise choking and know how to help
- Build the confidence to take action and support others safely
By the end of the course, children will feel more confident in their ability to help someone in need, while also gaining valuable knowledge that could one day save a life.

Duration
We offer the following
1-hour sessions, ideal for schools for the key stages 1 and 2.
3-hour open course sessions for individuals for a more in-depth course.
